Kaleigh Moreno

Where do I begin! Our breastfeeding journey started off so rocky with a sleepy, jaundice baby who just wouldn’t latch. We had to supplement with formula in the hospital, and after a week being home, I was still an anxious mess when it came to breastfeeding. I didn’t want to give up, so I knew I needed help. We found Sterling through our pediatrician and booked an in-home visit. She was so kind, attentive, informative, and made me feel so comfortable. As a first time mom, I didn’t have a clue what I was doing, but that didn’t stop Sterling from meeting me where I was and giving me all the help I needed. My baby girl has tongue and lip ties so latching was difficult, but Sterling encouraged me to not give up and to keep trying to latch. Because of her encouragement, we kept trying, and one day things just clicked. If it weren’t for Sterling, I don’t know if our breastfeeding journey would have been successful! Highly recommend working with her as your lactation consultant.

I booked an appointment with Loyal Lactation due to having trouble with latching which was causing me a lot of pain when feeding & trauma to my nipples. Sterling was right on time & got right to work with helping me latch. I had done so much research before & thought I was doing the right thing on latching but Sterling educated me the proper way to latch for my own breasts. It was truly life changing & gave me a new confidence to latch with my next feed (which was much more successful by the way). She also helped to get some milk out of my other breast while feeding which was new for me. She was really kind, attentive, answered all my questions, & educated me on things I can do & buy to help with the healing process. I cannot thank her enough for coming out to help me and now I don't dread feeding my newborn. I would definitely recommend her!!!! Thank you Sterling, you are truly one of God's gifts!

Where do I even start. Sterling is truly amazing, talk about God sent. I’m a mom of 3 but this time around is my first time pushing through with breastfeeding. After so much research and recommendations I came across her instagram page and automatically knew I need to get in contact with her. I slept on it, kept telling myself I got this I didn’t need help but it was weighing on me I needed to get in contact with Sterling. I reached out on IG & her prompt response was more confirmation that I needed to book with her. She’s very knowledgeable & passionate about what she does. It felt like I was talking to a friend, that’s how comfortable she makes you feel. No stone was left unturned. I highly recommend Sterling, after talking to her she’ll have you feeling like you can do all things. I left our meeting very confident

Sterling was INCREDIBLE!!!! She made breastfeeding feel doable again. I was so in my head about getting it right and ticking off the checklist. Sterling made it about ease and comfort for me and baby. He latched for the first time in days! And stayed there contently. I can’t wait to see her again and report back on our progress of get additional support if needed.
